WATERLOO | The Boy Scouts of America’s “Scouting for Food” program will run through Saturday with donations going to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank and other local food banks in the area.

Recycle plastic bags you have around the house with any non-perishable items you wish to donate, and Boy Scouts in the area will be back to pick them up to take to the food bank over the weekend. Fliers about the event were recently distributed in local neighborhoods.

Those who did not receive a flier and wish to donate, donations also may be delivered to the Winnebago Council Boy Scouts of America at 2929 Airport Blvd., or the local food pantry.
