ELDORA - Two people were killed in a rollover accident Tuesday just south of Highway 20 in Hardin County.
The Iowa State Patrol released few details regarding the accident. A release said 1993 Chevrolet Suburban was going south along a curve on County Road D35 around 2:50 p.m. when the driver lost control and the car left the roadway.
The vehicle then rolled into the ditch, according to the patrol.
Two people in the vehicle were killed and four other passengers were injured. The passengers were taken to Ellsworth Hospital for treatment. The patrol did not release the names of the people killed and injured because they have had trouble identifying all the victims.
Area emergency response agencies, including the Eldora Fire and Ambulance services, Hardin County Emergency Squad and the sheriff's office, assisted with the accident.
