NEW HARTFORD — The New Hartford Lions are having an omelet and all-the-pancakes-you-can-eat breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the New Hartford Community Building.

Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12. Second omelets are $3.

There will be a bake sale benefiting the eighth-grade trip.

Women’s group

luncheons slated

PARKERSBURG — The Women’s Connection will host a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Parkersburg United Methodist Church on Florence Street.

Teresa Rutherford of Plainfield, Ill., will discuss “Do you need a hero?”

Proceeds from a white elephant/bake sale will support the organization.

In Reinbeck, The Grundy Area Women’s Connection will host “Do You Need a Hero?” luncheon on Tuesday.

The event will be at 12:30 p.m. at the Oakleaf Country Club, 29725 Diagonal Road. Proceeds go to Stonecroft Missions. Cost is $10.

Rutherford will be the speaker, and music will be provided by Bill Quibell of Cedar Falls.

Reservations may be made by calling Charlyne at 345-2376.

Guests may donate pre-marked new and used treasures and baked goods for the fundraiser.
