WATERLOO — Terry “Ann” “Squeak” Snyder, 50, of Waterloo, died Monday, Sept. 11, at UnityPoint Health–Allen Hospital.
She was born July 10, 1967, in Indianola, Miss., daughter of Coleman Watson and Mavis Pauline Denson Lester. She married Donald Harold Snyder on Sept. 11, 1999, in Waterloo.
She graduated from Waterloo Expo Alternative High School in 1987. She had been a longtime bartender at Lori’s Place in Evansdale, and later worked as a health care provider of EPI and Lutheran Services in Iowa. She attended River’s Edge Christian Church and helped with the youth program.
Survived by: her husband; a son, Travis Dean Snyder; a daughter, Barbara Ann Rocelia Snyder; a stepdaughter, Shelby Acklin of Waterloo; a sister, Barb “Bob” Bigler of Waterloo; two brothers, Perry (Dawn) Lester of Des Moines and David Moon of Marion; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by: her parents.
Service: 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at River’s Edge Christian Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour before services at the church. Kearns Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
