WATERLOO — Rashod Develt Aldridge, 29, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Feb. 1, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
He was born April 10, 1988, in Waterloo, son of Roosevelt and Sarah Hoskins Aldridge.
Rashod graduated from Waterloo East High School in 2007 and was employed at Happy Chef, Hy-Vee on Logan and Rib Heaven.
Survived by: his mother, Sarah Hoskins of Waterloo; two brothers, Mario Goodson of Waterloo and Dontrell Hoskins of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Shalieka Goodson of Minnesota; maternal grandmother, Alberta Hoskins of Waterloo; and paternal grandfather, James Aldridge of Fort Worth, Texas.
Preceded in death by: his father; maternal grandfather, Walter Hoskins; and paternal grandmother, Gertrude Missicik.
Services: noon Friday, Feb. 16, at Union Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. Visitation also for an hour before services Friday at the church.
