WATERLOO -- Mikaela Bond Hill, 22, of Waterloo, died at her home Saturday, June 3.
She was born Aug. 10, 1994, in Waterloo, daughter of Kara Bond and Ray Hill.
She attended East High School and currently was attending Hawkeye Community College.
Survived by: a daughter, Kiyari Young Hill; two sons, Khamiere Young Hill and Jarai Caldwell Hill; her mother, Kara Bond; her father, Ray (Chris) Hill; five sisters, Raytisha Hill, Sheray Hill, Kyra Bond, Myca Bond and Sa-lay Hill; a brother, Isaias Hill; her grandmothers, Lorene Hill and Kathy Bond; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by: her grandfathers, Robert Hill and Richard Bond; her uncle, Melvin Hughes; her aunt, Reba Hill; her cousins, Adonnis Hill Jr., Drea Howard White, Donisha Johnson and Trevino Fox Jr.
Celebrating the memories of Mikaela for family and friends: 1 to 2 p.m. today, June 13, at the Mausoleum at Garden of Memories Cemetery, with a repast at 4 p.m. today at Ferguson Field with a balloon release and candlelight vigil.
Mikaela was a loving mother, she loved her children dearly and her family and friends.
