ALLISON -- Henry "Hank" George Freesemann, 83, of Allison, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Waverly Health Center in Waverly.
He was born April 9, 1934, in rural Parkersburg, son of Richard and Flossie Johnson Freesemann. He married Audrey DeBower on Dec. 17, 1953, at St. James Lutheran Church in Allison.
Hank graduated from Allison High School in 1952.
Survived by: his wife; his children, Keith (Sue) Freesemann of Yorba Linda, Calif., Lois (late Tony) Silver of Dumont, Craig (Deb) Freesemann of Waverly, Bruce (Lisa) Freesemann of Altoona and Larry (Lisa) Freesemann of Columbia, Mo.; grandchildren Max Freesemann of Yorba Linda, Carissa (Dustin) Otto of Corydon, Tori (Rob) Redfern of Mason City, Tonia (Justin) Ries of Rockwell, Amy (Chad) Timmins and Nate Freesemann, both of Cedar Falls, Amber (David) Droessler of Cedar Rapids, Alan Freesemann of Allison, Andrew Freesemann of Fort Carson, Colo., Olivia Freesemann and Hallah Freeseman, both of Altoona, Lianne Freesemann of Olathe, Kan., and Lauren Freeseman and Lynn Freesemann, both of Columbia; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Harriet) Freesemann of Allison and Marley (Gretchen) Freesemann of Clear Lake; and two sisters, Georgette Bauman and Jeanette (Jan) Franken, both of Allison.
Preceded in death by: his parents; a son-in-law, Tony Silver; and a brother-in-law, Duane Bauman.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, at St. James Lutheran Church, Allison, with burial in Allison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Allison.
