EVANSDALE — Harry Roy Granzow, 63, of Evansdale, died Wednesday, April 17, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born March 5, 1950, in Charles City, son of LeRoy and Harriet Ostendorf Granzow. He married Judith Stedman in Waterloo and they later divorced.

Mr. Granzow served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Jewels Body Shop as body repair tech.

Survived by: his mother of Elk Run Heights; a son, Jason of Waterloo; a daughter, Jennifer (John) Manley of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Anthony Granzow, Andrew Manley, Sophia Manley, Bailey Granzow and Jared Granzow; two sisters, Kathy (Jim) Oesterle of Waterloo and Leitha (Louis) Aten of Evansdale; and a special friend, Barb.

Preceded in death by: his father.

Family-directed memorial service: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Full military rites will be conducted at the church by the Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31. Inurnment will take place in Garden of Memories Cemetery at a later date.
