CEDAR FALLS — Darlene Wirth, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Oct. 9, at the Western Home Communities Windhaven Assisted Living Center.
She was born April 9, 1927, in Waterloo, daughter of Arthur and Mabel Elwood Worley. She married Eugene Wirth on April 2, 1950, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death June 16, 2002. She married Joe Lawson on Nov. 9, 2003, in Sun City West, Ariz. He preceded her in death Feb. 4, 2016.
Darlene attended Coe College, worked at Santa Claus Industries and was the president of ASI Computer Systems. She was active with Desert Palms Church in Sun City West.
Survived by: two sons, Dave (Carol) of Cedar Falls and Mike (Laurie) of Waterloo; a daughter, Cindy (Ward) Stubbs of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: her parents; and both husbands.
Services: will be private with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.
Memorials in lieu of flowers: may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or Cedar Valley Hospice.
