REINBECK — Anna Frances Morrison, 96, of Reinbeck, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Reinbeck.
She was born April 8, 1921, in rural Grundy County, daughter of parents Rudolph and Frances Duschanek Wanitschke. She married Russell Morrison on Feb. 23, 1946, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Grundy Center. He preceded her in death.
Anna attended school in Grundy Center, graduating in 1937, and earned an associate’s degree in accounting at Ottumwa Heights Community College. She spent her life as a homemaker living beside Russell on the family farm.
Survived by: two daughters, Dianne Van Heiden of Reinbeck and Denise Thede of Waterloo; grandchildren, Jennifer (Deric) Dozark and Daniel (Kati) Van Heiden, both of Reinbeck, Ryan Thede of Charles City, and Karen (Joel) Feder of Plymouth, Minn.; great-grandchildren, Alex Thede, Hunter and Karson Van Heiden, and Raya and Seth Feder.Preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Marcella High; and a son-in-law, David Van Heiden.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at St. Gabriel’s Church, rural Reinbeck, with burial in Reinbeck City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, at French-Hand Funeral Home, Reinbeck, with a 6 p.m. rosary service.Memorials: may be directed to the family to be donated to a charity of their choosing.

Anna enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was known to always keep the coffee pot on, never knowing who would stop by. Anna had her hair done every Friday and nothing would keep her from doing such. She enjoyed van trips to the casino and people watching.
