WATERLOO — Enjoy free, live music by the river at the Waterloo Center for the Arts’ RiverLoop Rhythms summer concert series. Sugarfoot will perform on Friday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the RiverLoop Amphitheatre, next to the Waterloo Center for the Arts. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Sugarfoot, a local band that formed in 2000, performs its unique take on American pop music of the last 50 years for audiences across the Midwest. Sugarfoot blends the familiar with the surprising to create original music and new interpretations of pop/rock standards.
The 2013 RiverLoop Rhythms concert series will take place at the RiverLoop Amphitheatre, overlooking the scenic Cedar River. Upcoming RiverLoop Rhythms concerts include Bob Dorr and The Blue Band on July 5, Everett Smithson Band on Aug. 23 and Savage Aural Hotbed on Sept. 13.
