ELK RUN HEIGHTS — Emily Gilstrap and Adam Babinat were married on Oct. 7.
The officiant, Deb Kellogg-Rummell, performed the ceremony at the Brown Derby Ballroom in Waterloo, followed by a reception.
Parents of the couple are James and Caryl Gilstrap of Elk Run Heights and Ron and Lori Babinat of Waterloo.
Maid of honor was Erin Gilstrap, sister of the bride. Also attending the bride were Caleb Cady and Maddie Morehouse, and Ashley Babinat, sister of the groom.
Best man was William Schwickerath. Also attending the groom were Alexander Braile, Joel Kost, and Benjamin Baldwin, cousin of the groom.
The bride is a 2011 Columbus High School graduate and is currently working at Finley Hospital, Dubuque. She also is a student at Western Governors University, studying for her master’s of leadership and management in nursing.
The groom is a 2011 East High graduate and a 2017 graduate of Drake Law School, and he is a lawyer working at O’Connor & Thomas law firm in Dubuque.
They are residing in Dubuque.
