CEDAR FALLS — Kaitlyn Trampel and Philip Weinert were married July 1 in Minnesota.
The Rev. Dale Korogi performed the noon ceremony at the Basilica of St. Mary, Minneapolis, followed by a ceremony at the Millennium Hotel.
Parents of the couple are Michael and Patricia Trampel and Michael and Cynthia Weinert, all of Cedar Falls.
Maid of honor was Lauren Weinert of Ames, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Rachel Sobieck of Minneapolis and Crystal Van’t Hof of Denver, Colo., sister of the bride; Carissa Schweiss of Lancaster, Pa., Morgan Hueser, also of Denver, and Catie Stoos of Chicago.
Best man was Steven Weinert of Minneapolis, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Adam Streicher of Columbus, Ohio, Ryan Huang of Ames, James Vizzard of Lancaster, Pa., Matthew Nelson of Urbandale and Neal DeBuhr of Davenport.
Seating guests were Forrest Wrede of Des Moines, Parker Smith of Ankeny, Chris Roland of Fort Collins, Colo., and Andrew Guhin of Ames, cousin of the groom.
Personal attendants for the bride were Danna Verastegui of Ankeny, Stephanie Cox of West Des Moines, Rachel Francis of Ames and Dylana Lockwood of Miami.
The bride is a 2012 graduate of Cedar Falls High School and a 2016 graduate of Iowa State University in supply chain management and marketing. She is employed as a merchant analyst at Best Buy corporate headquarters. The groom, a 2011 graduate of Cedar Falls High School and a 2016 graduate of Iowa State University in accounting, finance and management information systems, is employed as a public accountant at KPMG Minneapolis.
They live in Minneapolis.
