Iowa Operation Lifesaver will again be able to enhance its rail safety education efforts thanks in part to a donation from Flint Hills Resources.

Iowa Operation Lifesaver is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting railroad safety throughout the state. The $5,000 donation will help support the organization’s educational programs and outreach, including presentations to local schools, community groups, truck drivers and industrial facilities that rely heavily on the rail industry.

Since 2013, Flint Hills Resources has donated more than $20,000 to support Iowa Operation Lifesaver’s statewide rail safety efforts and the “See Tracks? Think Train!” campaign.
