After the holidays, it can feel like tax season abruptly follows with W-2 forms and reminders from employers and tax preparers alike. Don’t let tax season sneak up on you. Taxpayers can learn how to use their smartphone to prepare for tax filing.

U.S. Cellular will host a free Device Workshop in Waterloo, where associates will recommend tips on how you can use your device for tax preparation and e-filing. The workshop is open to everyone. Attendees do not need to be a U.S. Cellular customer to attend.

“Our associates are available to assist residents in using their devices to plan efficiently for tax season,” said Mike Adams, U.S. Cellular’s director of sales in Nebraska and Iowa. “Whether you have a Samsung Galaxy Note8 or iPhone X, your smartphone can be a helpful resource to make tax filing a more simple and organized process.”
