This fast-paced comedy, set on a passenger train from Chicago to New York City in 1933, centers around egomaniac theatre producer Oscar Jaffe (Sam Card) who will do anything including lying and cheating to get his ex-lover and temperamental actress Lily Garland (Michelle Rathe) to sign a contract for his latest play.

Attempting to keep a lid on the ensuing chaos are his long-time assistants Ida Webb (Samantha Mensinger) and Owen O’Malley (Mike Schlumbohm).Other characters include Lily’s agent and lover George Smith (Jared Holt), Oscar’s arch rival producer Max Jacobs (Bob Filippone), religious fanatic Matthew Clark (Bill Shaffer), aspiring playwright Dr. Grover Lockwood (Grant Tracey), Lockwood’s lover Anita Highland (Caitie Peterson), and frazzled Conductor (Chris Cox).

Directing this show is veteran Cedar Valley actor/director Gary Baumgartner
