MAHESH MOHAN, MD joined Covenant Clinic’s pain management department in the Covenant Professional Office Building. Mohan received his medical degree from Medical College Kottayam in India, completed a residency in orthopedics at NSCB Medical College in India, his PGY1 in general surgery at Brookdale University in New York and his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Washington University in St. Louis. Mohan completed his fellowship in pain management at Case Western Reserve University, then worked as an orthopedic attending physician at multiple hospitals in India from 2002 to 2008 and also was a clinical observer at the University of Miami Orthopedic Oncology in 2006 to 2007. He was an attending physician at Midwest Rehabilitation in Topeka, Kan., in 2013 and 2014, and was an attending physician at Mosaic Hospital in 2014 and 2015. Mohan has practiced interventional pain medicine at ORA Orthopedics in Iowa and Illinois since 2016.

CHRISTINE ERIE joined Locke Funeral Home as a funeral director. She has 14 years of experience as a local funeral director and obtained her professional degree from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago.

DAVID BEATY ChFC, CLU, LUTCF received one of the first 250 Life and Annuity Certified Professional Certifications from National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, one of the largest associations of financial service agents. Beaty also was re-elected as a member of the NAIFA national board of trustees for the 2017-18 term.

TONY MILLER of Cedar Valley Process Service was appointed executive director of the Landlords of Black Hawk, the local trade association made up of members who are landlords, real estate investors and property managers. Miller, who previously served on the Landlords of Black Hawk board of directors, also conducts training seminars for professional rental management.

Three new employees have joined DISTek Integration. JIM LAVALLEY is a sales engineer, AVERY MILLER is a software engineer and DALTON PETERSEN is a test engineer. LINDA ALLEN and SALLY HOLLIS joined the Lincoln Savings Bank board of directors. Dr. Allen has served as the president of Hawkeye Community College since 2011 and holds a Ph.D. in medical anthropology from the University of Iowa. Hollis, who provides a background in agriculture and operational management, is the owner of Lanehaven Farms Inc. based in northeast Iowa.

Three new associates have joined VGM Group’s HOMELINK division. JESSICA PHILLIPS is a transportation intake patient care coordinator, SARA BRUGGEMAN is a diagnostic imaging specialist and CARISSA BELL is an outbound patient care coordinator.

JASON HEMMEN joined the sales staff at Lockard Realty. Hemmen, who has a bachelor of arts degree and his Certificate in Entrepreneurship Management, previously worked as property manager for Waterloo Warehousing and Service Co. for the past seven years.

ELIZABETH ANDERSON joined Hellman agency as a senior account executive. In addition to a marketing degree from the University of Northern Iowa, she has more than 18 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry.
