CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was down 2.40 cents at $4.3060 a bushel; Dec corn lost .20 cent 3.4560 a bushel; December oats gained 6.40 cents at $2.5920 a bushel while Nov. soybeans was .40 cent higher at $9.6560 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was down .83 cent at $1.1295 a pound; October feeder cattle was up .20 cent at $1.5435 a pound; October lean hogs was up .03 cent at $.6128 a pound.
