CRESCO, Iowa --- Top-ranked Decorah (7-0, 4-0) amassed 406 yards of total offense in their 35-15 win over Crestwood (3-4, 3-1).

Running backs Josey Jewell and Gavin Nimrod both racked up two rushing touchdowns in the Vikings 378-yard rushing performance.

LA PORTE CITY, Iowa --- Union (6-1, 4-0 District 3) quarterback Jay Scheel dominated the Hampton-Dumont (2-5, 1-4) defense, scoring five touchdowns – four rushing and one passing. He ran for 113 yards on just six carries and completed 8 of 10 passes, totalling another 115 yards in the air.

The Knight defense was led by senior Christian Gray as he recorded nine tackles. Brady Petersen nailed a 45-yard field goal late in the game.

OSAGE, Iowa --- Noah Stochl went 9-for-18 though the air, passing for 181 yards and one touchdown to lead sixth-ranked New Hampton (7-0, 4-0) to a 26-13 win over Osage (3-4, 1-3).

Osage quarterback Trevor Haaland who threw two touchdown passes in the contest and went 25 of 48 with 292 yards, but the Green Devils lacked a ground game, producing only 21 yards.

DIKE, Iowa --- The top-rated Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (7-0, 4-0 District 3) defeated the Hudson Pirates (3-4, 2-3) 42-6 in class 1A play.

Wolverine senior Terry Mooty rushed for 91 yards on 17 carries while fellow senior Wyatt Syhlman caught six passes for 97 yards. The leading rusher for Hudson was Aaron Marcellus with 101 yards on 20 carries.

Josh Mackey produced three touchdowns on 11 carries for 129 yards. Derrick Kuehner followed up with two rushing touchdowns. Kuehner finished with 169 yards on 16 carries.

The Falcon defense limited the Eagles to 160 total yards on offense.

The Cougars held the Cyclones to 158 yards of total offense as Denver quarterback Braydon Neuendorf went 6 of 16 though the air for 50 yards.

GREENE, Iowa --- North Butler (4-3, 3-2 District 3) gave up just two fourth-quarter scores to Postville (2-5, 2-3) in a 47-14 win Friday night.

Leading scorers for the Bearcats included seniors Rob Rottler and Kaleb Junker, each with two touchdowns. Junker rushed the football 19 times for 112 yards.

Postville running back Tristan Keene had 100 yards on only four carries with two touchdowns.

GRUNDY CENTER, Iowa --- A scoreless contest in Grundy Center was broken by Dylan Lyman’s five-yard touchdown that helped Grundy Center (3-4, 3-2) to a 13-0 win over Gladbrook-Reinbeck (3-4, 2-2).

Lyman finished the game rushing for 130 yards on 28 carries scoring the game’s only two touchdowns.

MAYNARD, Iowa --- Janesville (5-2, 4-2 District 3) held West Central’s (6-2, 5-2 District 4) offense to one touchdown after Janesville committed six turnovers in their 40-6 win.

Janesville running back Caleb Reeves led his team, producing 110 yards on 15 carries scoring two touchdowns. Michael Lincoln mustered 205 yards on 31 carries with one touchdown for the Blue Devils.

RICEVILLE, Iowa --- Riceville (5-2, 4-1 District 3) led 14-6 at half, but visiting Don Bosco (7-0, 6-0) came away with a victory, 34-14.

The Dons’ quarterback Jake Hogan ran for three touchdowns and threw for another. Don Bonsco’s offense accumulated 289 total yards to Riceville’s 180 and the Don’s defense was able to shut the Wildcats out in the second half.

Wildcat junior Ryan Shedenhelm was Riceville’s leading rusher with 86 yards on 21 carries with a score.

Dunkerton quarterback Dillon Anderson led the charge, passing for 380 yards on 29 of 56 passing with three touchdowns. Receiver Jason Bedard caught 15 passes for 253 yards, scoring on a 66-yard play.
